Things To Bring Outdoor Adventure Camp

  • Visor or inexpensive sun glasses
  • Bathing suit or shorts and a T-shirt
  • Sun screen
  • Old tennis shoes and aqua socks, or sport sandals
  • Towel and a change of clothes
  • Bagged lunch that does not require cooling or heating.

Please be sure that every day your child has an outfit for wet activities and dry activities. There is an opportunity at the end of the day for your child to purchase snacks, drinks, or items from our gift shop, should you choose to send a little extra spending money for your child(ren).

Rainy Days : We will make a decision each day whether to run the planned activity, hold off for a period or stay indoors. Campers should be prepared to get wet on rainy days though. It will be a much more enjoyable experience if campers are dressed for the weather. Cotton is a poor insulator when wet (and they do get wet). It's a good idea not to send your children in it. It may make them cold. Wool, polypropylene, nylon and other synthetics are good. A nylon wind breaker, or rain gear is also a good idea.
