Adventure Road Trip Week is a typical Adventure Week that offers campers the opportunity to participate in all of the activities that we offer at River Riders with a day trip on Thursday to the Luray Caverns and the garden maze.

Qualified and skilled outdoor guides lead lead the camp and will offer participants an amazing experience that they will never forget. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of outdoor activities that include a Harpers Ferry hiking tour, guided whitewater rafting on the Shenandoah River, guided kayaking on the Shenandoah River, guided tubing and canoeing on the Potomac River, and a trip to Luray, VA for out of town exploration and fun. . Campers will spend an entire day unraveling the mysteries of the largest garden maze in the Mid-Atlantic and discovering the beautiful formations of stalactites and stalagmites in the caverns at Luray. Comfortable walking shoes are a must! This camp will be the ultimate thrill of your child's summer and will help build their confidence and character as well as allow them to enjoy the outdoors, and gain a sense of accomplishment while having fun and building new friendships. Adventure Road Trip Week is offered to children grades 4-11.

Monday:
morning Harpers Ferry hiking tour
afternoon Shenandoah whitewater rafting

Tuesday:
Full day Potomac River canoeing or kayaking trip

Wednesday:
full day kayak instruction

Thursday:
Luray Caverns /
Garden Maze

Friday:
morning Shenandoah guided kayaking
afternoon Guided tubing

Rates:
$199 per camper for the week - $6 extra for Garden Maze
$35 per week for the Meal Plan
$50 per week for shuttle pickups and drop offs in Charles Town, Shepherdstown, Martinsburg, Hagerstown, Frederick, Leesburg, Winchester, or Gaithersburg*

*Must have at least 4 campers or $200 minimum per location
