Thank you for your interest in joining the professional staff at the Outdoor Adventure Camp at River Riders. We are always looking to add top quality, qualified, friendly staff to our operation in Harpers Ferry. Each job position has specific qualifications, but all positions require working with our campers. We require staff to enjoy working with children, be friendly, professional, helpful and timely in all positions. The camping industry is a great profession for the right people. There are many different types of people who work at the Outdoor Adventure Camp at River Riders in a variety of areas, and we have about 70 seasonal employees in our entire River Riders operation. All applicants must provide 3 verifiable references.

River Riders is a drug-free workplace.

We are presently taking applications for the 2008 season for all positions including:
camp/guide staff
shop staff
office staff
management and recreation interns and co-ops
drivers and
managers

Some of you are from out of town and are interested in lodging. We have primitive camping available on site. Each year many of our staff camp here throughout the summer. You are welcome to do this as well. We don't have any dormitory style lodging available. Other lodging is available in the Harpers Ferry area.

If you are a citizen of a foreign country, you must have all work permits, passports and visas BEFORE applying to River Riders.
