All Ages Recreation Offerings with
River Riders

Are you looking for outdoor adventure? Do you want to learn a new sport, but don't know here to start? Join River Riders for single day activities throughout the year. Activities include: rock climbing, orienteering, white water tubing, rafting, and kayaking, as well as transportation to and from Alexandria. Get a group of friends together or sign up to meet new people. All offerings require little to no prior experience, although participants should be in relatively good physical condition and should not be afraid of water or heights (for rock climbing). River Riders reserves the right to change any activity, location, or date in order to provide our patrons with the best experience possible. Participants need only bring themselves and appropriate clothing to get wet; River Riders will take care of the rest!

Spring Family Zip Line Adventures! (All Ages)

Harpers Ferry Zip Line Canopy Tour

Zip line enthusiasts don't have to wait for summer to enjoy thier favorite, thrilling activity! Winter caopy tours can offer a spectacular view of beautiful, budding landscapes, crisp clear skies and a lovely, spakling river! Alexandria residents have the opportunity to zip away to breathtaknig spring adventure! Participants will enjoya brisk, bird's eye view of the Potomac River shoreline and historic Harpers Ferry for the top of the season's canopy. With 7 zips, 2 bridges, ladders, and a rappel. This 2.5 - 3 hour tour cures your cabin fever! Guests should dress in layers, wear gloves, hats, and secure sneakers or boots. No loose clothing.

Our trips depart from River Riders Inc. in Harpers Ferry, WV at 11am. Participants are asked to check in 45 minutes prior to their departure. Take spring fun to new heights, only an hour away!

DATES: Weekends 3/3 - 4/8 weather depanding

COST: $79 per participant

*minimum of 3 participants for departures, groups of 2 can add on to groups.
