Campers will engage in fun filled adventures while experienced, professional counselors share their knowledge of the beautiful, history rich Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers, and the natural habitats surrounding the Harpers Ferry area. This summer your camper will have the opportunity to experience all of our sunsational activities and develop a working knowledge of water sports and safety.
Minimum age is 9. Grades 4-11.

Session 2
Out of this World
We’ll start the week with icebreakers and teambuilding before heading out for a lazy float down the river on Flat Water Tubing for the afternoon. Tuesday we’ll take to the sky while ziplining along the Canopy Tour. The afternoon will be spent searching for evidence of ET at our Potomac St. location. Wednesday morning we’ll set out on an exciting run down the river on White Water Tubing. In the afternoon we’ll create and launch rockets to launch as well as scale to new heights on the rockwall. Thursday morning we’ll create our own alien costumes before heading off to play laser tag! Friday will be spent on an all day White Water Rafting before a pizza party!
Session 4
Wild West
Monday morning we’ll start off by deputizing everyone by creating badges and playing some ice breakers. For the afternoon we’ll take a float down the river on Flat Water Tubing. Tuesday morning we will soar through the air on the Zipline Canopy Tour. In the afternoon we’ll search for gold in the Potomac. Wednesday we’ll bike into Old Town Harpers Ferry to explore and get ice cream (campers bring own $$$). After that you’ll have a chance to tame your duckie during a duckie rodeo down the river during White Water Kayaking. Thursday we’ll head out of camp for a shoot out at the OK Corral. Back at River Riders in the afternoon we’ll practice our lassoing skills and rope tying. Friday we’ll spend most of the day on a White Water Rafting trip followed up by a watermelon seed spitting contest and summiting the rock wall (not at the same time though!). And as always, the week ends with a pizza party!
Session 6
Pirates of the Potomac
Monday we’ll start things off right by creating treasure maps and playing some icebreakers. After that we’ll head down to the river for a lazy float on Flat Water Tubing. Tuesday we’ll fly through the air on the Zipline Canopy Tour. In the afternoon we’ll sail our pirate ship around Bakerton and some might even have to walk off the end of the Duckie-plank! Wednesday morning we’ll search for treasures while geocaching. In the afternoon we’ll become Pirates of the Potomac during our White Water Kayaking trip stopping to explore new lands along the way. On Thursday morning we’ll practice climbing the rigging of a ship on the rockwall before heading out for a different kind of water adventure- a waterpark! Friday will be spent on an all day rafting trip before ending with a pizza party!
**Each day of camp begins with a special "wake up call" activity and the days end with a daily debriefing.
