Adventure Overnight Travel Week

DESCRIPTION

white water rafting on the Shenandoah River in Harpers Ferry This week provides the opportunity for older and veteran campers to experience class IV white water action of New River Gorge National Park in Fayetteville, WV.
Monday:
On the first day it’s straight down to Fayetteville WV to get a good nights rest under the stars.
Tuesday:
Rafting on the Lower New including rock jumping and awesome water!
Wednesday:
Rafting on the Upper Gauley. This section of the river is famous in the fall, but equally as exciting in the summer. There are steep drops and technical mazes through boulder gardens. The alternative activity this day is tackling the Upper New in duckies (inflatable kayaks). Being closer to the water means more thrills!
Thursday:
We'll take to the skies on the Canopy Tour featuring over a mile of zips along the cliff line! You'll reach speeds of up to 40 mph and try out the newest zip that's over 800 feet long! It will take a while to catch your breath after this adventure and those views!
Friday:
We'll break camp and head back to River Riders sharing our favorite memories along the way.
This camp will be the ultimate thrill of your child’s summer and will help build their confidence and character as well as allow them to enjoy the outdoors, and gain a sense of accomplishment while having fun and building new friendships.
Campers need to bring their own tent and sleeping bag.
